COLORECTAL CANCER

Colorectal cancer is the third most common cancer in men and second in women in the UK. The lifetime risk of developing colorectal cancer in the UK is 1 in 18 for men and 1 in 20 for women. The overall survival of colorectal cancer in the UK has not really changed in the last decade and is in the order of 50-55%. At GDCT we support essential research into drive an increase in the survival rate.
