George Davies Masterclass

George Davies travelled to Edinburgh this week to be warmly welcomed by the Heriot-Watt students. George has a very close connection to the University as he launched the ‘George Davies Centre for Retail Excellence' in 2005 and established the MSc International Fashion Marketing course. He continues to support the University through donations and also giving his time to deliver master classes to the course students.

The International Fashion Marketing students were full of enthusiasm as George delivered a bespoke masterclass to share his expertise within the fashion industry.

Professor Davies said: “It was a great pleasure to meet and talk with the students, all of whom were extremely engaging and demonstrated a genuine interest in the retail industry.

Their enthusiasm was clear to see and that will help them in life. The fashion industry never stands still and it’s important to always strive to improve.”
