George receives Honorary Degree from the University of Leicester
In July George was invited to Leicester University to accept an Honorary Degree. When asked about his work ethic George put a strong emphasis on the team work it takes to be successful , 'I've never had an office in my life. I sit and work wherever is right. I want to be part of the people and I still am'.
The support that George has given to the NHS and the pioneering medical team at the Vascular Limb Salvage Clinic won particular applause from his fellows. 'The thing that makes me prouder than anything I've ever achieved, is this team have saved over 400 people from having amputations in just over 2 years'.
The George Davies Charitable Trust continues to support such important work and help transform lives.
